With the goal of having engineers specialized in the area of Bayesian technology, Probayes and the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey campus Puebla (ITESM) offered a course on Bayesian Programming to the students. The Tecnológico de Monterrey is one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Mexico.
A group of fourteen students on computer systems engineering participated in the course and prepared three Bayesian technology based prototypes:
a deaf-mute sign language recognition system,
a signature recognition system and
a video based people counting system.
With this kind of actions the ITESM and Probayes prepare professionals on high-end technology. Some of these professionals could be integrated in a near future to the Probayes mexican branch.
